Say NO on 1183

“I don’t want liquor in my store.”

Matt Kenyon
Grocery Store Worker

What don’t they understand about NO?

Big Corporations are at it again trying to privatize liquor. This is bad for our communities and bad for our fellow union members.

Privatizing Liquor means:

  • Loss of a job for almost 1,000 union workers
  • Adding dangerous products to our store shelves leading to safety and discipline issues for grocery and drug store workers
  • Increase in underage drinking, drunk-driving accidents, and emergency room visits
  • 4 times as many stores selling liquor!

“As a health care worker I see enough alcohol related injuries. Increasing access to liquor is just too dangerous.”

Bobbie Hurst
Health Care Worker
