Management Proposes Zero Cost of Living Increase
After two days of bargaining we received Management’s full proposal including pay, health benefits and scheduling. Here are some of the key elements of their offer:
• 0% across the board pay raises. (Step raises will still be maintained for those that are scheduled to receive one.)
• Elimination of the 100% PHP health plan.
• Elimination of job postings in prominent locations in the medical center. (They will only be posted on the internet.)
• Decrease the 2 hour notice for low census for day shifters to 1½ hours.
• Decrease advance schedule posting from 4 weeks to 3 weeks.
