Come meet lead negotiator David Fleishman, together we’ll develop a plan of action to secure a fair contract.
Highlights of challenges in our current technical bargain include:
- 0% across the board pay raises in the first year and only ½% raise in years 2 and 3
- Elimination of the 100% PHP health plan
- Elimination of job postings in prominent locations in the medical center. (They will only be posted on the internet.)
- Decrease the 2 hour notice for low census for day shifters to 1 ½ hours.
- Decrease advance schedule posting from 4 weeks to 3 weeks.
- No increase to any premiums (evenings, night, or weekend)
This is a sign of the challenges we will face in 2012 bargaining. By standing together and building our strength now we will all be better off as we go forward with future bargains.
