Tentative Agreement Reached at Auburn Regional Medical Center

We are pleased to inform you that the union bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with Auburn Regional Medical Center on a three year contract which boosts wages, improves on-call pay and makes other improvements.

Highlights of Our Tentative Agreement

Our tentative agreement includes a number of improvements to wages and working conditions. Highlights of our agreement include:

Wages:

The agreement includes increases this year ranging from 2% to 7%, depending on job classification. These wage increases are retroactive to the contract expiration date. Next year and in 2010, all classifications will receive 3% increases. All these increases come in addition to the step increases you receive as you move up the wage scale. The agreement also includes a new Step 23 on the wage scale.

Other Improvements include:

  • Increases to Certification, Preceptor, Evening and Night Premiums
  • Better vacation scheduling
  • Additional floating holiday for employees with 15 years of service
  • Improvements to on-call pay

Full details of the contract offer will be available at the meeting. You will have the chance to review the offer and ask questions before casting your vote.

You must be present and a member of the union in order to vote. If you are not a member of the union, you can sign up on the date of the vote and be eligible to cast a ballot. Ballots will be counted at 4:00 pm after voting concludes.
